CNN, FOX, Post, Times, HuffPo – mind control central – are all snowballlin’ it. All of this, well ahead of any actual on the ground hostilities….but then, when does actual on the ground reality ever intrude on a war ‘worth’ waging?

The breathless news reports about nuclear weapons (that we have in abundance), blockades, crazy heads of state ad infinitum, bewitch, but don’t bother folks who should know better.

I can hear Donald Fagen saying, “you think you’ve heard this one before?!”

“And Mr. Nobel will make sure its gonna happen.”

You get the picture: the grand lullaby, sung by a twelve foot Congolese sheepherder, with a washboard and wooden spoon, has bewitched and intoxicated millions of black fools as well as white, the whole world over.

Elected, primarily, on the basis of instant anti-racist absolution provided the il-liberal white by a vote for Uncle Ben – and the skin allegiance of the Democratic Party’s most avid colored kool aid drinkers, Black Bwana rode a magic carpet to victory, greased by the pre-cum of the guilt-freed, the delusional and the dispossessed.

It wasn’t long, however, before the exotic chants and progressive incantations of a long campaign season devolved into rank nigga hoodoo, the likes of which hasn’t been since Amos tried to mount Andy is his dressing room trailer.

Week one on the job, Black Bwana, “Mr. Articulate”, the one who said he would talk to Tehran, rained drones down on Pakistanis – complete innocents – according to the law of due process. Ever since, he has created more terrorists than he has captured. The crowning achievement of his ability to bamboozle was securing a Nobel PEACE Prize on the basis of what he might do in the future.

What this man has wrought?!

On the economic front, all evidence demonstrates that this nigga went to the market – the stock market – while the rest of us got took!! Loot, jobs and homes. Billionaires became trillionaires, free money was had by the crackas who caused the problem. Meanwhile, the little people were offered chump change at shylock prices. It wouldn’t be nearly as bad if the one facilitating our date with Lucifer didn’t look so damn much like us.

Its so much easier to hate whitey, exactly the reason why Dr. Frankenstein’s creation of the cool, smooth, counter cultural coon was as timely as it was brilliant. Black Bwana sooths the savage black beast, caught up as he is in the “symbolism” of a black face in a high place. Policy analysis be damned: that nigga looks good in a suit and don’t Michelle and those lil girls looked good with their permed-ass who-do’s?!

And the white folks, the guilt-ridden, terrified faux liberals throats are on mute when it comes to speaking truth to the HNIC. They’ll talk all around him: its Wall Street. Its the Rethuglicans, its the Tea Party. But they won’t name the ship’s captain, the one at the wheel masterfully guiding the ship of state into the iceberg, shearing off the dead weight of the niggas in the bottom of the hull – all the while keeping his white cronies safe, fat and belly full.

This man of alleged liberal principles is really that 3/5th of a man still listed in the Constitution. Instead, of an afro pick, BB carries a pitchfork in his back pocket, the better to kink up that silvery, horn-hiding, half-fro. Who permed his soul?! Every value, every law, every example that he used to contrast himself from the previous President – he has come to embody. COMPLETELY!! He truly is “Black Bush.”

Just yesterday, his threatened veto of a bill that would allow him, allow the US military, to detain US citizens on American soil without charge for an indeterminate period – was withdrawn. In December of 2011, the Constitution became null and void.

Only a Black Bwana, only a Trojan Horse, only a wolf in Nobel sheep’s clothing could have accomplished in three plus years what this man has accomplished.

What will he do with a four year encore?! Lawd, hep us!!

Family, primary and extended. Rec centers with activities that occupy the body and mind. Music programs that raise the spirit and lift the soul.

Rather than encourage and liberate young learners, schools brainwash and shackle their minds utilizing tyrannical testing regimes. The equivalent of a good, clean, twelve year water-boarding session – between the ears. And we wonder why children can’t think.

The respectable adults working and living respectable lives have disappeared from too many communities, along with the jobs that would have sustained them. ALL, for the enrichment of the corporate slavemaster in need of more, always pursuing more, guzzling and scarfing down MOREMOREMORE, with not a care for the societal HOLE that his appetite creates.

When the cavernous abyss is the norm, is the COMMUNITY, one holds onto that branch that reaches back.

Gangs aren’t bad in theory, and only a little bit in practice. The practice of picking up the gun can be counterproductive – when using it against his own kind. Guns, dangerous though they may be, are only the tools that desperate people use to attain that which the culture denies them: Power. A sense of power, power in ‘the skin we’re in’, power to create, to eke a humane existence within an insane edifice. The power to survive de-facto genocide.

Gangs become the family that wasn’t, provide the support that isn’t. They spread a safety net and forge a sense of belonging in a world that doesn’t want see or want them. And certainly doesn’t want to HELP them.

Gangs are scary, unpredictable things. Because they create solutions, unsponsored, unendorsed, solutions. Many would agree that some of those solutions are misguided, or short term. Well, when you’re in that undulating, whirlpool, seconds from going down the drain, a gang could come in handy. Understand.

A response to my post “All White People Are Racist Suspects“:

“Here I am. I am the person most descriminated against, I am the person most held back because of not only my race, but my gender.

I am the one who has to watch every word that comes out of my mouth because it may offend someone…even though that person uses the same word him/herself. I dont get any excuses, I dont get any support.

My race and gender get no help from the governments, no help from the courts. I wake up everyday trying to figure out how to keep myself alive, and my intergrity intact in this “free” world. I cant get food stamps, I cant get child support or alimony. Nobody has to hire me BECAUSE I am white.

I cant belong to any group BECAUSE I am white, or because I am a male..yet I have to hire Blacks, I have to hire Females..nobody has to hire me. I have to work everyday or I starve and die. I have to pay taxes to help normal people all around our country, but I can not get the same help myself.

I am not normal.I am a racist, I am a sexist. I am everything anyones wants to say about me, but I can call no other the same. I see posts like these..I hear comments like these..I am racist, I am trying to hold people down…But you are wrong.

I live everyday trying to survive in this world where it is everyone against the White Man. Step back and look at us. We are desperate. We are scared. We have to keep everyone happy, or we face the worst persecution left in todays world. One wrong word, and I am a racist. One wrong word and the woman will take everything you have ever worked for.

Being White means you get half of what you work for and nothing you deserve. Being White means its everyone against me.

Take Obama for example…look at the charities he donated all his money from the Peace Prize to..Blacks, Indians, whatever races..he tried to get them all. But nobody looks at the one race he didnt even consider, the race nobody considers..the White race. Thats our everday life. No help, no thoughts except contempt.

So go ahead, keep bashing Whites. Its what everyone does everyday. And I will just keep trying to survive.

My grandfather, Dr. Robert Walter Johnson who coached Althea Gibson and Arthur Ashe and many other black tennis players and who was instrumental in integrating tennis, was finally elected to the International Tennis Hall in the contributor category: thirty eight years after his death in 1971.

I contacted Peter Bodo and asked him if he would write something-anything about my grandfather – who in his anonymity, faced far longer odds than Bollettieri. Here was a man responsible for masterminding the development of the first two African American world tennis champions, yet who knew him?!

After saying that he would write “something”, I contacted him again, months later, to find out “when” he would be writing that certain “something.” He never did. Mr. Peter Bodo, aka,”The Conscience of the Tennis Community” wrote not one word about my grandfather. I guess Dr. J, as we called him, had more than enough connects without need of the Gandhi of the steno pad.

Tennis is an incestuous, segregated little country club and by all measures no more comfortable today with black people than it ever was. It has been said that there are no real journalists any more, only stenographers, typists, publicists, who keep their seat at the corporate trough by pressing their snouts firmly between the cheeks of the “insiders” that they must pretend to criticize once in a blue moon.

And doing their part to maintain the status quo.

Bodo’s post here is that kind of sham.

Nick is still alive to be written about and considered/re-considered. What a heroic gesture to pen an article about him, a guy still breathing, embraced, well paid and recognized. Meanwhile, Carl Bernstein refuses to publicize the accomplishments of a man who did great works in the shadows – and decided to keep him there. No need to wonder why.

Dr. J made it into the ITHOF last year, against all odds and without the help of Peter Bodo. There were NO writers from Tennis Magazine campaigning for his entry into the HOF, though his credentials and thirty eight year streak of non-recognition dwarfed Susan Lucci’s Daytime Emmy drought by a fair margin.

There was a grassroots effort – by family members, by online and Internet journalists, by Doug Smith (“Whirlwind: The Godfather of Black Tennis”) and Bud Collins to name a few. But there was mainly silence.

I happened upon this post and as soon as I saw the subject matter, I knew. The bile rose in me, at the magnificent, breathtaking hypocrisy on display. Thank God our family didn’t wait to receive “help” from this kind of puny source. We’d, of course, still be waiting.
